Sell GBTC Stock at a loss?

Question from Patreon member: To get some BTC and Eth exposure in my Roth IRA I bought shares of GBTC which is now at a 50% loss and ETHE that is even more in the red. Since no spot BTC ETF seems imminent and the Grayscale fees are significant, is it wiser to sell at a steep loss and move the assets to a faster horse, or to keep them in Grayscale funds? How would one evaluate the risks of each option?

Isn't the Graysale fee only charged if you're dealing directly with grayscale and not just the gbtc through Vanguard or other brokerage accounts?

Can you do a video on whether we should keep microstrategy or sell and buy a bitcoin etf (once it’s approved)?? Seems like we’d need to consider cost of etf, intrinsic value if microstrategy software company, etc
