How To Set Up Blink Outdoor Camera

In this video we teach you how to set up a Blink Outdoor Camera. The latest generation of Blink Outdoor Cameras are wifi video cameras that can operate up to 2 years on battery power. The Blink Outdoor camera also has the ability to be hardwired if prefer that over the battery power. The Blink camera system uses a wifi blink camera and a wifi base station which then converts the Blink video footage to a wifi signal so that the footage can be viewed on the cloud. The Blink Base station operates on wifi and just requires a plug for power, it does not need to be plugged into your modem or router. Multiple Blink cameras can be connected to one Blink Base station. A unique feature of the Blink Cameras and Blink Base station is that the Blink Base station has a USB port that allows you to locally record footage on a USB stick for free if you don't want to pay for cloud storage or if you want a local backup of your video footage.

How To Set Up Blink Outdoor Camera:
1. Download the Blink app and create an account.
2. Set up the Blink Base station first on the Blink app by scanning the QR code and following the instructions.
3. Once the base station is set up you can start installing the Blink Outdoor Camera.
4. Use the included tool in the Blink Box and remove the rear cover from the Blink Outdoor Camera. Scan the QR code inside the Blink Camera to Install your Blink Outdoor Camera.
5. Insert the batteries into your Blink Camera.
6. Reinstall the cover plate for your Blink Camera and secure with the provided tool.
