All NEW 2025 Ford Ranger PHEV - Launched

Ford is set to revolutionize the mid-size truck segment by introducing its first-ever Ranger Plug-in Hybrid electric vehicle, slated for a debut in early 2025. This innovative model promises not only zero-tailpipe emission driving capability but also retains the hallmark attributes of the next-generation Ranger, including superior towing, off-road prowess, and payload attributes. Moreover, it is designed to deliver more torque than any other Ranger model, thanks to the combination of a 2.3-litre Ford EcoBoost petrol engine with an electric motor and a rechargeable battery system. This allows the vehicle to operate in pure electric mode, targeting a driving range of over 45 kilometers, a feature that is especially beneficial for business owners operating in areas with low emission zones.

The commencement of the Ranger Plug-in Hybrid's production is anticipated in late 2024, with the first deliveries to customers expected in early 2025. This introduction marks a significant milestone in Ford's overarching strategy to offer a diverse range of powertrain options tailored for the mid-sized pick-up truck segment. As part of this initiative, the Ranger Plug-in Hybrid will be seamlessly integrated into the Ford Pro ecosystem. Hans Schep, the general manager of Ford Pro in Europe, expressed his enthusiasm for the new model, emphasizing its potential to guide customers into an electrified future with confidence. He underscored the vehicle's capability to maintain the Ranger's position at the forefront of innovation in the mid-size pickup truck segment. The hybrid technology not only ensures reduced emissions but also opens up new possibilities, especially in urban areas where emission restrictions are becoming increasingly stringent.

In addition to its groundbreaking hybrid technology, the Ranger Plug-in Hybrid will also feature the Pro Power Onboard system. This system allows customers to power high-draw tools and appliances directly from the vehicle, whether at a remote worksite or campsite. This means traditional, bulky generators can be left behind, freeing up cargo space and offering more convenience. With its blend of performance, eco-friendliness, and utility, the Ranger Plug-in Hybrid is poised to offer a "best-of-both-worlds" solution for work, leisure, and family needs.
