In a nutshell... The Fortuner looks aggressive with a tougher ride, while the Terra looks on the matured side and having a relaxed ride. Moreover, I think I'm more interested about the location of this shoot...🤔

Great addition to a comparo - a sound test 👍 Power is good but not all the time. For someone who loves to drive long distances for therapeutic purposes & does not speed up like a race car driver (I live in Negros Occ.), comfort will really matter. I guess I'm partial to the Terra. I now realized I got the wrong SUV for me 😆 Got swayed by the fam. No wonder I feel enervated after a long drive. Resale value 😅😂🤣 Tnx Autodeal Team. Your videos are always informative 👋👋👋 Pls. do add an engine sound test too. Tnx much.

Autodeal review getting better and better, any addition of information to help viewers gain more knowledge is always accepted, thank you team for always trying to make it better. If I could have the power to suggest thou, I have been a long long time viewer of the channel, and been suggesting ever since to include the weight of the vehicles as it affects ALL of the important aspects of the vehicle, acceleration, power to weight, agility, ride aspects and fuel consumption.

Blessed enough to have both, I would say it has its own pros and cons.

For the Nissan Terra, it is best in the class for ride comfort with its suspension and anti-gravity seats. It also has a more luxurious interior thanks to that HUD in the dashboard, e-brake, and red leather interior. The tech on this SUV is also crazy loaded. The least likeable thing from the Terra for me is the engine. It feels underpowered, especially in the lower gear. I feel like the pairing of the engine and transmission is not seamless.

For the Toyota Fortuner, you would feel that the ride comfort is a bit stiffer compared to the former. But it has drastically improved from its previous models. I love that it also has a red leather interior accent, cooling seats, and accents lights all over. It sure feels loaded as well and everything feels durable yet comfortable. ALSO, THE ENGINE FOR THE LTD IS POWERFUL. The best reason to purchase this SUV, however, is its resale value and practicality. As we all know, Toyota is the king of resale value, so this is a big consideration especially if you're the type of person who would buy a car and sell it after five years or so (especially because of the fact that cars right now are only built to have a shorter lifespan).

Overall, I say go for Nissan Terra if you prefer comfort, tech and space. But if you prefer practicality and reliability, go for the Toyota Fortuner.

Nicely done Sir Caco. I would love to see a comparo like this between the Honda BR-V VX and the Mitsubishi Xpander Cross.

Caco is the only car review specialist who does not make me sleep during the video! In fact, he clears my mind about car options.

Man, 4 aircon vents for the second row just solidifies Nissan's reputation for air conditioning.

In the audiophile hobby, it's simply called a "blind test". It is used to avoid biases towards looks and brands, and focus solely on the sound to gauge which one is better. And I was almost expecting this, where a JBL system will sound "warmer" and "fuller" (also bassier), and a Bose system, while also mostly tuned "V" (thus the monicker, "highs and lows...Bose"), will sound a touch "thinner" and a touch more treble-ish.

Anyway, for the actual comparo, Terra for me. I am not an SUV fan. What I love is MPVs. And yet on the space test, the cargo space configuration on the Terra is much like a flat-folding MPV (e.g. an Xpander or an Ertiga, where you also fit "6" balikbayan boxes).

Power, the Fortuner. Tech, I think they are neck and neck. But ride comfort? I feel like that's a no-contest as even Fortuner owners admit that the ride is quite "robust". It's an SUV though so I don't think that's a detriment. It's more of a personal preference towards a more comfortable ride for me.

Great comparo as always, Caco and team! Keep 'em coming!

When it comes to comfort and sapce go with Terra. When it comes to resale value and practicality of parts go for Fortuner. Nissan Terra has also the lane keep assist, and adaptive cruise control. Also don't forget the Terra's sudden collision system :D

Terra all the way but we must remember this fortuner is basically the same as 7 years ago. Can't wait for the next generation of the fortuner😢

Both cars really are great, it just comes down to buyers preference. For more mature and to those who always travel terra is the go to car, but to youngsters like me i would go for fortuner since power and looks are really meant for younger people.

For a person driving both my Terra (Just purchased last quarter, from my previous Subaru XV) and my Dads New Fortuner (Sobrang haba ng pila sa pilipinas, to have the top of the line, tagal ng hinintay namin since months lang naman yung agwat ng sasakyan), I must say, kung comfort hinahanap mo go for terra pero kung hatak lalo na pagakyatan (especially nasa province kami and may zigzag) go for fortuner pero hindi naman nagkakalayo. Lalo na pag drive ko is from Batangas to Bicol. Medyo may pagod factor si Fortuner (pero kanya kanya naman yun) compare nung dinala ko si Terra same route.

Terra all day! Comfort is everything for an SUV. It must not feel like you’re driving a truck.

Cargo space, Convenience, Looks (almost equal to the other one), Power = Terra has it all. But it will be still depends on you. Good job for the review.
