PM Modi in close contact with US, Russia & Ukraine leaders: FS Vikram Misri on Russia-Ukraine war

New Delhi, October 21 (ANI): Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri also spoke on India’s role and its commitment towards peace in Russia-Ukraine War. “We have continued to emphasise our basic approach to conflict, the war won’t resolve this issue. No solution will be found on the battlefield. For any solution to be found, it is important for all the stakeholders to be on table and for them to discuss it together. The PM has been in close contact with leaders from Russia, US and Ukraine even after he visited Moscow and Kyiv. We have continued our contacts at the official level also to try and explore how we can move towards bringing about and finding the contours and of approach that can bring together on an acceptable path towards peace.”
