Watch closely...she wasn't sad because of the prize. She was sobbing right after her performance she must have thought she did not do well.

It says Tears to Winning 3rd--so my take away is she thought she did poorly after her performance. She looks pretty thrilled to be winning that 3rd place to me!!

The pressure of ballet is crushing, but these girls are so excellent that it's down to tiny differences. I hope the parents give them lots of love and support.❤

Mademoiselle wanted first place. You did well by receiving your 3rd finalist diploma, which is fabulous and I congratulate you. You have a mind of steel and have complete control over your emotions in public. I would have done like you. On the other hand, I admit that I wouldn't have cried with sadness like I saw you do afterwards! Some want too much and, in my case, completely forget that there are other immense talents. And then, the bodies of models, a lot of things change, I have seen great hopes stop following accidents or others : )) Courage Lady, you are not at the end of your disappointment in a world which offers of the dream, where you have to work a lot and also accept not always being the first. I remember a skater whose name I won't mention who threw her second place medal in rage. It was forbidden and she had been penalized. I don't accept this kind of behavior in public at all. Besides, she really didn't deserve more than second place. As for you, congratulations again for being able to change your intense disappointment, your pain in your left foot and your enormous pressure which is subsiding. You seem to be very well surrounded. This is important too. Have courage, good luck : ))

Guys she’s not sad because she got third, she’s sad because during her routine she had a slip up towards the end I believe !!

3ed place at 9 years old, she’s lucky she will have plenty of room to grow and lots of time to reach 1st. Place.

So much pressure on these children to do well. I don’t approve of competitions, the sense of failing knowing you gave it your very best and it wasn’t good enough and you will never be good enough
