Fronted by Van Morrison, this early Sixties band scored just two big UK hits in 1965. I often wondered if they had considered calling themselves The Morrisons and then abbreviated it to The M. (Them). Just my guess!

Love this old 60's song. Brings back memories of being young, naive about men, broken hearted, crying into my pillow, consumed with jealous rage, seeing my guy with another girl after our many fights. And then he rocks up at 3am, knocks on my door, wants to try and make up, tells me I'm 'the only true, real love of his life', but I'm too off my face on alcohol or whatever else would help me forget him and too paralytic to even crawl to open the door.... And not so sure I'm the ONLY one true love... Great song to wallow in misery when broken hear ted... Watch the wintry fog of depression descend upon you as night falls like a cold grey wet blanket...

I often confuse Van Morrison's voice with Mick Jagger's.
Good song.
