I powered on my same coffee machine by connecting 2 wires to the power button. It’s controlled with a 5V relay on a Wemo D1 mini.

My hands are paralysed and so it would be really beneficial to be able to not only switch my PC on with the switchbot, but to have a 2nd button in the application where I could do a long hold down of the Switchbot to shut down the PC when it has frozen.
It would be good if I could ask Google to operate the Switchbot by voice.
I don't have the switch bot hub. If I have 2 switches at each end of the house do I need to hubs to control them?

Is it OK that my switchbot appears to push too far? I'm afraid it will damage my coffee machine because it travels past where the button would be. Is it smart enough to stop traveling? Or is it going to push the button too hard?

Why do you need the hub if you just want to use Bluetooth on the phone app to activate it?
