The iPhone 16 Pro Max and the Google Pixel 9 Pro XL -- the two big American phones. How do they fare against one another? In this video I compared the cameras, talked a bit about software, and overall hardware.

I have to say Pixel 9 pro has the best front facing camera ive seen on a smartphone both for photos and videos

Here's hoping that future pixels will have hardware that rivals the iPhone if not better (clueless)

The overall pixel is slightly better than the iPhone in terms of photos, however they really need to equip better CPU.Ben's comparison is always honest and trustworthy.

I've been saying it for years, "Photographic Style" of iPhones, and the old "Dual Exposure" of Pixels are such underrated options, and all smartphones should have them, it opens up almost all possibilities in photo-video.

This year the cameras on the Pixel9PXL are on par with other flagships but the front camera is way ahead of the competition even in the videography department(Selfie Cam)

While I am typing this message using my iPhone 15 Pro Max, my Sim currently resides in my new Pixel 9 Pro XL. Sure, the iPhone is technically faster but for the things I use my phone for, I can't tell. The 9 Pro XL has been an awesome device to use and the battery life is greatly improved from the 8 Pro. I haven't hated my experience with the iPhone this go round but there's a few things that still annoy me to no end so it's going on sale soon.

iPhone cameras could be good at night where this iPhone 16 pro max has noise... the Pixel 9 is better in certain photos but besides that it's a good video

Forgot to mention that the Pixel has a pro mode which lets you change the brightness, shadows, white balance, focus peaking, shutter speed and ISO.

I agree with most people that iPhones are very boring, and that’s also what makes Android appealing.

However, one thing you have to acknowledge about Apple is that when they do something, they’re not the first to innovate, they’re not the first to introduce a feature, but when they do it, it works, and it works well.

Take 4K at 120 frames per second in HDR, for example. That’s not possible on an Android phone, or if it is, it comes with a reduced bitrate, no HDR, and so on.

That’s the main trait of iPhones: they don’t compromise. In general, Android always has this issue that bothers me. And as much as I try to go back to it, you always end up making compromises with Android. Every time something is great, you know something else won’t be on the phone.

I’m used to it because I use an iPhone as my personal phone and an Android as my work phone.

Right now, I have the OnePlus 12 for Android, and I love this phone. It’s very enjoyable to use, the screen is great, very smooth, but honestly, when it comes to the camera, it’s just not up to the level of the iPhone.

I’ve also had the 24 Ultra, the Honor Magic 6 Pro, and the Pixel 9 Pro XL.

But I just can’t switch to Android as my main phone. I always stick with the iPhone for its photo and video quality.

Once you notice that white dot on the footage of Ben on the swing

The software on pixels is just leagues ahead of the iPhone. A far better experience.

Absolutely love my Pixel 9 pro XL and my Pixel watch 3 45mm! Owned both of these since day one and coming from an IPhone 15 pro max along with an Apple watch ultra 2 I can't say I miss them at all! These two devices are really that good, I've had previous pixel phones along with the 8 pro and what a difference Google has done! The screen, battery, modem, chipset (yes on paper it's slower but honestly you don't see it at all using the phone day to day), camera and build. The phone is great. Pixel watch 3 45mm is soooo good too, had the pixel watch 2 and man the bigger size is so needed, its faster too along with the battery is longer it feels like. Google is great this year!

The only thing I see better in the iPhone camera is the transition between sensors in video mode.

It took Google six generations to finally improve upon the camera features of the Pixel 9 Pro XL. In my honest opinion, the 3XL had a very good camera on both the front and rear; I disturbingly stopped using Pixel after the 3XL. This came upon deciding that other features became important to me - other namely, the battery (which really sucked). And this much later, I'm gladly, yet excitedly using the GP9PXL. I must say that thus far, I have not been disappointed.

This phone vs that phone. Who cares as long as you like the phone you have.

8:39 the little tiny white pixel on his forehead and below on his shirt on the screen I thought were dead pixels on my brand new iPhone 16 pro max lmfao. It must be some type of light flare into the lens or something.
