As someone who has regular packet loss issues (can be very annoying at a time where you NEED to react to what's happening) I can confirm that you just adapt to it. You do less risky plays, and surprisingly, your gameplay gets more consistent and safer. AND ACTUALLY YOU RANK UP FASTER lmao.

Please note that I started to play the game again this year and I stopped in 2020, so I'm not sure that my rank is capped because of my skill or the time I put into the game rn

There's a guy named Splinter. When he was younger, he was playing on a family laptop.

He was playing with 10 fps, his pc would freeze every teamfight, and pretty often crash.

More than that, his pc was overheating very fast, so he had to put it in his fridge to cool it while searching for a game, and because of that, the plastic covering his pc was slowly turning liquid.

Despite that, he still managed to reach challenger.

Conclusion : if he can do it, you can do it !

I have a friend who got to grandmaster in Overwatch 1 on Genji with ~50 fps when nothing was happening and 20fps in fights. I myself used to play minecraft pvp on ~20 fps as well, you just adapt and play slightly differently, sometimes even more methodically and smarter since you can't "outplay" your opponent as easily with poor pc performance.

My worst pc was actually pretty good when playing old league...
But world of tanks?... I remember that nothing but tanks rendered... No flooor, no trees, no buildings, nothing. Just tanks floating in a grey void. And i still had around 15-25 fps. Those were the times ;)

I admired your mentality, it's because you have fun, I have no fun ranking I prefer the other modes and flex

I played on terrible pcs since i was 6 up to when i turned 16, and i wouldn't change that, it taught me to improvise, do my best with what i have and my limitations, and taught me to be humble, nowadays i have a much better machine but far from the best, so i do find myself at times with lower fps, but all those years of experience help me play well when it does happen.

So i find it extremely laughable when people complain about 60 fps or even more.

I used to play with a notebook that reached 20fps at most and a ping that varied between 11 and 2300 every 50 seconds and I still managed to go from bronze II to emerald I. Now I have a good PC and it really made a difference, but only because I already knew how to play and learned from my mistakes. KEEP CLIMBING ❤❤❤

People also have a tendency to remember notably bad things that occur to them more than good things. This can lead to a skewed perception of reality, where their life seems much worse than it actually is. It can make it hard to persevere in games like lol or cs, where the community is a constant source of extremely negative interactions that can overshadow the joy of winning, or even the rush of making a game winning play.

In 2013 I got silver while playing at 20fps and 300 ping minimum, off a shitty laptop that died on me 4 times. Sometimes you need to tread through shit to grow as a person and player. How you react to the problems is equally important as adapting to them.

eyy that was literally me for a long time too, 20-30 fps with 90-200 ms and some of the keys on keyboard not working xddd

I have the same situation. I have a low end spec laptop running on uhd 620, it runs on 25-50 fps, the lowest i got is 0-7 fps because of ocean drake when I was playing ranked and I reached top 17 on Ph server.

My crappy old Laptop was the first ever sort of computer I ever owned and it used to get 20 FPS on league and would often overheat mid loading screen 🤣
