Ironically, Hindennberg itself is not a genuine research company. They are basically operators and take positions on behalf of their clients and mostly do shorting. The modus operandi is to take short position and then publish negative news in the name of "research" and try to hammer the scrip and do short covering. There is no proper investigation as claimed by them and no genuine research. The only problem why this is getting importance is Indian legal system has no control over Hindennberg as they are not governed by Indian laws. This mischief will be done by them time to time. It is part of their regular trading activity.
