Agreed. Mirage Fafnir also has hard rubber, and the 2S Chassis is wider than the Mirage Ring. Nothing has no LAD which makes it bad at spin stealing.

To be fair here, in plastic gen we has no rubber at all, and we still have the most versatile group of spin equalizers of any generation, the shape of the ring/contact points is more important than rubber outside of the metal (and now X) eras where the recoil is just higher in general leaving less room to equalize spin so you ALSO need rubber to dampen the recoil enough

I think single chassis’s fixes a decent amount of problems but I feel like adding a pretty middle weight disc will improve spin stealing a slight bit, light enough that that it doesn’t die from momentum decrease, but heavy enough that it’s able to keep itself in the stadium

I also think the shape isn't that good. the furthest outward parts of the Mirage ring have these sharp and recoil heavy blades that extend in an outwards angle too far. Vanish rounds it down a lot better, even Geist has the blades at a less outward angle. Nothing was already bad and even more ineffective here.

Simple fix that i noticed all these youtubers doing wrong, is that forget the way fafnir is launched. It cant spin steal at a straight up launch. it has to be angled to where the nothing driver does damage. another thing is that mirage fafnir tends to attack and drain unlike other fafnir's to help fafnir spin steal, its simple keep a slight dominate hand on the launch bend your wrist to angled launch and as you pull the coord lift up the launcher to a straight launch. The nothing driver will not activate and the spin steal will work

I feel like they wanted mirage to be anime accurate with less spin stealing and more countering with the chassis but it’s honestly a design flaw fafnir is usually small compared to all the other beys of it’s generation so it’s rubber allowed it to not be instantly sent flying from attacks

Most of it is occasioned by nothing. Funny enough, the layer does a better job at spin stealing in Counter mode than *Absorb* mode. Because the weight is more evenly distributed and reduces the chances of falling over at its last moments of spin.

I think it's just the driver. That driver can be use only for fafnir gimmick, that it can come alive from a still state. Other than that, it's useless to use with a launcher.

Second, the changing mode also affecting it's stamina steal and defend too.

fafnir can work well with his stock chasis, but only on counter mode, so the rubber blades can have contact, nothing still sucks tho.
