🚂 EMD-F7 Idling ⨀ Train Idling for 11 Hours - Dark Screen in 1 Hour ⨀

This video features the sound of an EMD-F7 1500 hp diesel-electric locomotive idling. This particular train was produced between 1949 and 1953. It is accompanied by a 1-hour visual featuring the image of this particular train model engine idling on the tracks. Then the screen goes dark for a further 10 hours of audio.

F7's on B&O's Chicago Division Garrett Sub worked out their last year's and days from 1966 - 1969 pulling the Dixie Flyer also known as the Pittsburgher 2nd Section - Chicago - Pittsburgh. They'd come through Defiance, Ohio about 10:00a.m. in run 8 in ABA or ABBA configuration roaring like lions, and throwing smoke to the heavens !!

I remember these engines pulling the metro north trains out of grand central Station up to Brewster NY. Befor the line became electric in the 1970's and 1980's. I remember when they would get to end of the line at NYC the heavy smell and choking from the emissions
