I can't WAIT for your thoughts on What Lies Between Us!! I thought is was sinister, dark and had a disturbing death grip. I loved the unreliable narrators, the complex dynamic mother daughter relationship. I loved all the shock factors. There were times where I literally just wanted to drop my jaw to the floor. The tension was palpable.

THE ENDING... No spoilers.. obviously... but my God that ending. Genius. Earth-shattering. There's this moment when you're not quite at the end and you literally just think, there can never be a happy ending here. This ending is going to leave me speechless... AND IT DID.
It will leave you with a giant book hangover, because I don't think anything will quite compare.

Very much agree with your review of They Never Learn! I personally didn't foresee the plot twist and thought that part was quite good but I was very turned off by how much man-hating there was in that book.

They Never Learn is one of the worst book. I’ve read in the past year. No, it IS the worst book.

Finally someone felt similarly about They Never Learn, I liked the themes but overall it read a bit YA to me idk, a 3 star as well 💔

Great review! Agreed on cultish I feel like it would’ve been great to have companion doc or podcast I also wanted more it was just a four star for me.

I enjoyed Reckless Girls too, it was a fun time and so easy to fly through but I also enjoy those type thrillers like you mentioned.
I’m excited to pick up The Burning Girls after you’ve talked about it a couple times too! ❄️

I didn't like Near the Bone either, but I did finish a new release called These Silent Woods. It was similar-ish but much better in my opinion.
