Sprinter Allyson Felix just made history by breaking the record for winning the most world championship gold medals. Felix sped past Usain Bolt's gold medal record at the world track and field championships in Doha, Qatar, just 10 months after undergoing an emergency cesarean section. Felix joins "CBS This Morning" to discuss her win, her daughter, and her fight with Nike over maternity protections.

Each weekday morning, "CBS This Morning" co-hosts Gayle King, Anthony Mason and Tony Dokoupil deliver two hours of original reporting, breaking news and top-level newsmaker interviews in an engaging and informative format that challenges the norm in network morning news programs. The broadcast has earned a prestigious Peabody Award, a Polk Award, four News & Documentary Emmys, three Daytime Emmys and the 2017 Edward R. Murrow Award for Best Newscast. The broadcast was also honored with an Alfred I. duPont-Columbia Award as part of CBS News division-wide coverage of the shootings at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut. Allyson Felix is a legend. If she doesn't win another race ever again, It doesn't matter to me. She has cemented her legacy, and will always be known as a champion.

I absolutely adore her! As a former track athlete and new mom myself (have a 5 month old), she’s a huge inspiration to me! It’s amazing that she’s able to compete at such a high level so soon.

I always loved watching Allyson Felix run. Her stride was a model of how it is done. Later, I discovered she is even a better person than she is a sprinter, and once again a role model to emulate. Pure Class.

Allison is one of the few USA athletes I've admired her whole career. It was good to see her back after having baby. Shelly Ann Fraser from Jamaica made a good come back as well. It was so great to see both these women back in the sport and doing well.

I remember when we ran track in middle school and we were always the last two to get off of the school bus. She was always so sweet and soft spoken. I love the woman she has become!!❤️
