Eliminating axial backlash in revolution joint 1

Three integral rings on the green shaft slide in grooves of the blue base and yellow cap to prevent axial movement of the shaft. The grooves in the yellow cap are offset axially.
The video shows how the spring forces cause the shaft movement to eliminate its axial backlash.
The blue base prevents the shaft from moving to the left.
The yellow cap prevents the shaft from moving to the right.

Nice concept. Finally all depends on manufacturing, assembly quality. Most important u cannot place load on the yellow section, since spring loaded studs are maintaining pressure on threaded shaft with the help of yellow block.

Since 4 spring r used, force is equally distributed. I would recommend to used wavespring. Spring selection is also important factor based on mechanical design & its calculations.
