There is two errors in 3rd step 1st is that 2¹ is 2 not 1 and 2nd one is 2⁰ is 1 not 0

It's totally wrong that you have done in the 3rd step. You wrote 2¹=2 not 1 and 2⁰=1 not 0.!!!!

You took 2^n common then how again came 2^0+2-^1 it would have been 1 + 1^-1 since you took 2^n common
