One of the greatest games I have seen from both sides, gws got a couple of goals from frees which is one thing swans have to control, lack of discipline.

Brisbane had a training run which didn’t reveal a lot while GWS had a proper test of finals footy and came within a whisker of winning an enormous battle. Brisbane should be very nervous re-watching what GWS did to Sydney in those first 3 quarters, they will be very hard to beat at home this weekend.

Great film clip which should have included Blakey’s spoil at the start of the quarter, and show Ward’s kick bending through the big sticks. Not seeing the trajectory of the ball doesn’t show how great the goal was. Horse’s comments were the icing on the cake … 🎉

To all those in the comments writing off the swans because they didn't have a blowout victory like the others.

That because the Swans and the Giants are the two best teams in the AFL right now.

You can smoke your hopepium until its copium.

The swans are going to make it all the way. Power or Hawks it doesn't matter. The bloods are back to there best.

You are going to play like GWS did for 120 minutes to beat us. And if you manage that you earned it. But it's not likely. You will take your foot of the neck for moment. Give the swans a sniff. And it's all over.

Just ask everyone we have done that too all year.
