Yes unfortunately that's the way it is corporations and the government look out for themselves before the people. Sad but true.

In other words it went from BAD to WORSE

No one who drives for these gig companies is their own boss. Drivers have no say over the rules, no say over their pay, and no say in the dispatching of the orders.

Prop 22 currently pays drivers who are actively delivering 120% over the current minimum wage and .30 a mile. For Los Angeles it’s over 16 an hour plus tips. It also offers a healthcare subsides for drivers who work an average of 15-25 hrs a week. I don’t know how much probably not worth it.

I quit. It's the end, the fall of Doordash. Prop 22 unconstitutional

I learned a while back that Uber has insurance for you while you're on an order. I fell and was injured Sunday and asked if I was covered by workman's comp or anything. Uber's answer was "not yet". I didn't get a response to my response. I told Uber that I was gone if they made drivers employees.

End 628
We should stay as we are but fix the app
And build a better merchant base with ones who actually want to be on the program

Honestly if doordash provided vehicles I rather use their vehicles beat up their vehicles run their vehicles down into the ground do the wear and tear on their vehicles rack up the mileage on their vehicles to be honest with you that's what we're doing to our personal cars I'll be honest with you doordashing is not really worth it it's not very profitable after you look at all the fuel you consume dashing the frequent oil changes the maintenance racking up the mileage on your own personal vehicle the wear-and-tear beating up your own personal vehicle all your hard work all the stress you go through all the pressure go through all the rushing you have to do it's hard on the car and it's hard on the driver just to make Pennies on the dollar sometimes you're lucky to break even even if you make a profit sometimes it's not much of a profit and sometimes it is very profitable however you have to Dash a lot do a lot of orders do a lot of deliveries putting in the time put in the hours to see some decent money when you break it down even then it's not very profitable in other words you're working two full-time and a part-time to see some decent money when you're working 12-14 to 16 hour days basically everyday to see $500 to $1, 000 a week or more not very good considering all the hours you put in using text talk

This only applies to California pete, so disclaimer there, and also, uber is already challenging it so nothing is set in stone yet. Uber lyft are challenging it. These unions did something we didn't want and its being challenged. Give it a chance

You might not be, but in the state of California Prop 22 guarantees we are.
