Jottnar fjorm is the best jacket. Warm into the negatives, hydrophobic down, insulated hood for days, best jacket I've owned.

The North Face one here is perfect for the majority of people. Most people aren’t outside too long. If you commute via bus or train on a bad day close to an hour outside. Typical days 10 minutes to 30 minutes.

I think the arcteryx proton is the best jacket of all time. For below 30F I use a Mackage Dixon. 90% of the time I wear my Arcteryx or use it as a midlayer when it’s below 10 or below 0F

Did the Crofton get water stains on it water being wet. That's what happened to mine, and I've heard it's a common issue
