Haven’t uploaded on a Saturday in a while! If you have any encouragement for moms or future moms leave it in the comments! There’s nothing like being championed in a role that can be undervalued by the world but is such a beautiful call by God! 🤍🥹

I am a new mom and just had my daughter 3 weeks ago. This video hit home for me on so many levels and brought me to tears. Thank you for opening up and giving advice like this. The video was uploaded in perfect timing. I needed to hear everything you said today.

I will be a new mama in EIGHT WEEKS OR LESS and this video really came in handy. The closer I get the more my nerves/anxiety (which I didn’t know how much I really had) act up. I really appreciate the vulnerability and honesty it’s extremely helpful.

Thank you thank you thank you so much for talking about this. It is something that is rarely talked about. Becoming a Mom feels so natural & you are expected to know how to be one once you conceive but the nitty-gritty preparations somewhat make you feel unprepared for this human being coming into your life FOREVER. Those preparations are needed so much because they are like the legs that hold the chair. My biggest takeaway from this is the mental preparation. Thank you for sharing just how you & Nick came to terms with the change you'd experience once the baby came into your life & process through that. It is real & I'm so glad you shared with us about it. Thanks again Chelsea. 👏👏👏👏☺

I’m a FTM and I’m 22 but was 21 when my husband and I had our baby girl. And she was a winter baby. The best thing I remember doing for after bath was getting her clothes, lotion, bedtime story, bottle etc made right before hand. It made it so much easier on us. And it helped us create a bedtime routine asap as our girl is 5 months now and we still do that same routine just a little modified as she LOVES bathtime. But again she was a winter baby and we would always warm her clothes up by either throwing them in the dryer for a minute or putting them in front of her room heater! It didn’t startle her as much after bath and really helped her stay asleep.

I’ve been more of a silent listener to your videos for years and years now but this video specifically really spoke to me. I’m 20 years old and I’m getting married this year. God has 100% laid the knowledge of the gift of motherhood on me from a young age.
Thank you for sharing these types of videos, your faith, honestly and open heart has touched me and made a difference in me! You have inspired me so much in my faith, and in my prayer. 🙏🏼

I wish I would have known how different each baby is! My first baby was so chill and didn’t really cry much ever, but my second was a screamer (and still is lol!). But my third is somewhat in between. I thought babies were somewhat all the same in terms of sleeping and crying for some reason so it would’ve been helpful to know just how different they can be! And that their baby personalities sort of carry over into their early childhood years.
