The sounds of my childhood/youth always makes me nostalgic

As of today, this game is 31 years old, and I was 31 when it came out. It's still a fun, but hard, game. I try to play through as much as I can on my own, but if I get stuck, I appreciate walkthrough videos like this to help get me unstuck. We didn't have YouTube or the Internet back then, but I remember beating this game, so somehow I figured it out. Those were simpler times.

A Link to the Past is one of the best games ever created. It may be more than 25 years old at this point, but it still feels as fresh now as it did when I got it for my birthday back in 1992.

Every single sound and noise in this game is pure childhood. I cannot forget how incredible it was when it came out.

Epic memories of being 7 in 1992 and gradually having to figure all this stuff out. The intro with the rainy night always stuck out in my mind.

You just unlocked some beautiful memories, watching my dad play as a kid and then eventually playing myself. Thank you 🫶🏾

Between 1:55 and 1:58 I opened the wrong door with the only key. And I can’t seem to get the hammer. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

12:55 I've always wondered; is there anything behind that cracked wall?

Thank you for this.
Born in ‘83 I got to grow up with Nintendo and Zelda was one of my favorite series of games, especially this one. It’s pretty much perfect. It’s also amazing when you’re a kid playing this stuff for the first time. It’s great memories I’ll keep forever that include my family and Christmas and friends.

I remember buying this game used in the original box and manual at the flea market for $20. Man best buy I ever did as a kid

Lady: "Link, they say you kidnapped Princess Zelda, but I still trust you."

Link: Proceeds to then blow a hole in the wall of her home and steal some shit.

Every day, after school, 1994, 7th grade... Life sure does go by quickly! I think I just shed a tear. Pure #nostalgia

When I listen to "In The Garage" by WEEZER, this game comes to mind. Bk in HS days, my buddy built a lil enclosed space in the garage to use for our band practice. In one of the corners of that space sat a TV and snes set up with this game.

Got an original cartridge copy last Christmas. This is the best Zelda before Ocarina of Time, and certainly the greatest 2D of the series. I beat it 100%, too. It is tough, but very fun. Iconic for debuting the Master Sword!
