The tire pressure tip is underrated, I feel like even with a dual suspension I run higher pressure on rocky stuff than a lot of other people but even though tubeless is less likely to pinch flat, rim dings hurt my soul when they happen. I wanna try cushcore but with modern tires running like 30 psi tubeless is the right combo of plenty of grip and enough protection from rim dings.

Cush Core in the back makes quite the difference on a hardtail imo

I am 120 kgs (yup, I am heavy), and I run 30 on both tires, usually, but on my last trip on some rocky trails, I felt some hits, and to prevent those punctures, I just got my pump out and increased the pressure by feel on the rear tire. It doesn’t have to be accurate in the field. “Good enough” will bring you home safely.

I just double up the tires and run tubes. From bmx to downhill, I rarely get a pinch or punctures from bindies or keawe thorns.
That's just my opinion. 🤙🏼

can i be real with you, i didn’t really have that big of an issue riding a hard tail before i got into the specifics of it all, i was happier before i knew i could change tyres and pressure and inserts and all that

I find myself in the Situation that the Vittoria airliner Kind of wobbles in the tire. It performs Well but its Kind of annoying because i always think sth is loose on the Bike. Should i just remove the tire, make the Insert a Bit shorter and then Install the tire and so on? Or is there anything Else i could do?
