President Obama arrives in London - BBC News

President Obama has arrived in London from Saudi Arabia.
On his final scheduled trip to the UK before he leaves office, he will have lunch with the Queen, but the political focus of his visit is on what he will say about why he thinks Britons should vote to stay in the EU. Our North America Editor Jon Sopel is travelling with the president.

Well, if the US wants Britain to remain in the EU to help influence it, then they missed the memo....the UK has little to no influence in the EU and that is the issue.

I liked Obama a lot and still do, but this was one of the few occasions on which I completely disagreed with him. We had to make our own decision on this, constantly being made to appease everyone else over and over again is part of exactly why Brexit is happening.

Outside EU, EU manufacturers will have to obey UK law if they want to sell to UK
IF EU put tariffs UK government will get greater returns from same tariff against EU

But if the EU is really so great, why doesn't the US join? Theres nothing stopping them, they already meet the requirements (unlike Turkey).

Britain is a risk to the global economy when leaving the EU, it would also play a bigger influence outside the EU, Obama wants to ensure the global economy is stable and to do that he must ensure the UK stay within the EU.
