I loved watching All In The Family reruns & The Jeffersons as a kid! The dog on the right reminds me of Sam The Sheepdog (who would protect the sheep from Wile E. Coyote) from Looney Tunes. Could u react to Sanford & Son?

Why are we not allowed anymore to appreciate our differences.. I know this was in the 70's but we still have difference in culture but we can't speak about it anymore.. I don't believe that's a good thing.

This entire scene was a reference to an infamous, but modernly debunked story about Winston Churchill, the Prime Minister of England during WW2.

“If I were married to you, I’d put poison in your coffee, ” Lady Astor once famously remarked to Winston Churchill. “If I were married to you, ” he replied, “I’d drink it.”

What's crazy is back when this was a new show, people understood that Archie was mostly the butt of the jokes. And old, out of touch, doesn't realize why he's wrong, conservative dude.

Meanwhile, when Last Man Standing was on air, Tim Allen's character was also the butt off all of the jokes, but liberals lost their freaking minds.
