That's not a Karen, that is a lonely elderly woman. I love how this dude reacted.

Maybe she has early stages of dementia. My aunt started acted like that before she was diagnosed. Maybe her family can take her buy better window treatments. But maybe that's her problem. She's angry and hurt because her family DOESN'T come around. I'm so proud of this man for taking the high road and showing her compassion.

Clearly dementia. My grandma is suffering from it as well. Super sad. I deal with that type of stuff on a daily basis. My grandma thinks I change out her car seats and washing machines. She accused me of stealing her cat yesterday. You just have to be patient and act like they are right. My grandma asks the same question 10 times within 2 minutes to me. Very sad

My heart melted when she got upset at him saying he would turn them off. She got all choked up, and so did I.

You can just tell this guy is an amazing father. Logical and fair. Compassionate. But also assertive.

Unfortunately, she is lonely and needs her family to step in and keep her company. Respect to that young man for treating her like his auntie and not his enemy!!!

Awww she is definitely showing signs of early dementia and desperation to talk to someone, so happy she has a sweet caring family next door, i bet she sits and watches the family longing to be apart of their lives especially since they have children, i hope to see a updated video ❤

I think she’s probably lonely and it’s the only way she knows how to communicate.

I think she’s lonely. Not an excuse but a possible explanation. Sometimes you just gotta be the bigger person.

Elders deserve kindness and understanding. A lot of times at that point they may not even be all there. One of lifes sad realities… Hats of to the neighbor for handing it well.

This is how you make the world better. Take care of your neighbour in need, try to make your street better, forget about the world. If everybody took care of the person in need next house, like he did, how amazing the world would be. Such a good man.

She’s no Karen - she’s just lonely. What a beautiful neighbour he is ❤️

As my mom's dementia progressed she started covering EVERY light source in her room from digital clocks to red dots on TV boxes to safety pinning her heavy drapes closed EVERY night. She would fixate on these things and claim she couldn't sleep otherwise. I see my mom's demented behavior in this lady. There is NO REASONING with a dementia sufferer at this point. You just have to accept their behavior and pacify them. I think this fellow might have finally realized he was up against something in the same realm.

It takes a certain lvl of discernment, maturity, and kindness to do what he did. I wish for him all the best in this life.
