Basic HTML and HTML5: Link to External pages with Anchor Elements | freeCodeCamp

Linking to external pages is accomplished in HTML using an anchor text. In this tutorial, we use anchor text to link a few words on our website to an external website. When the user clicks that link, they will be redirected to the specified website.
