On June 8, 2023, Rowan College of South Jersey held its High School Equivalency Recognition Ceremony at the Gloucester campus. Over 40 graduates participated in the ceremony, which was presented by the Career & Technical Education Division.

RCSJ’s President, Frederick Keating, announced that each graduate would receive six-college credits for free to begin their college journey at RCSJ.

RCSJ’s High School Equivalency (HSE) program provides adults who did not complete a formal high school program with an opportunity to obtain a high school diploma issued by the State of New Jersey Department of Education.

After taking classes, if needed, students take the HiSET or TASC assessment to earn a diploma.
