Very nice bike, but what was the reason for the very slack head angle compared to the Level and the shorter chainstays? I love the Level precisely because it has a steeper steering angle, but 455mm chainstays, because it can be steered very agilely and is still very smooth and stable. The level has a 65° steering angle and when I sit on it it is 64.5°. The Dune R and RR have 64° head angles and the XR even 63.5°, which is actually not typical of Mondraker. The chainstays are also relatively short at 445mm and the effective seat angle on the R and RR is quite steep at 77.5°. Is there a specific reason for this? I would have found the Neat geometry, i.e. 64.5° head angle, 450mm chainstays and 76.5° effective seat angle, better. Would still like to test drive it because a lighter alternative to my level would probably be very cool.

The positioning of the display is truly idiotic! The first minor crash and that thing is toast!
