Stef, I would add 2 more which I think are as important.
1. Learning skills. It's easy to watch videos, attend class, read etc—but what do you do afterwards to make what you've been taught your own?


2. Numeracy awareness. I'm amazed at how many accomplished people are so weak on basic math principles—such will hold back your financial and business skills, because you'll be less able to make judgments on what the data is telling you. Probability, trends, sample sizes, outliers, ranges of cyclic phenomena, correlation v causation, etc etc.


You don't have to learn these. Just know what they—and others—are, and where to look them up when you need them. PS never draw to an inside straight ;)

#10 - Business: I hope you can help me about this Stef I have a bachelor's degree in Computer Science and I am on the brink of pursuing Masters in Computer Science or MBA - what do you think will provide me more value in the long run.
