In an urgent question to the House of Commons on Brexit, the Labour leader, Jeremy Corbyn, asks for an update on the progress made in the legal changes to the EU withdrawal agreement.
Corbyn took the opportunity to criticise the prime minister, Theresa May, who was not in attendance. He also asked for the timetable for the meaningful vote on her Brexit deal. He said 'there can be no more hiding', labelling the delay in the vote as 'shameful'

No majority for a deal,
No majority for a no deal,
No majority for another referendum.
And time is slipping away

The options are very simple. Accept Mays incredibly generous to the EU deal that ties the UK into membership of the EU for eternity, or exit the EU as per the referendum results, the will of the people, in March.

My referendum question did not ask me if I wanted to leave with a deal, or leave without one. I was promised by Her Majesty's government that if I voted OUT, the UK would leave the European Union in its entirety.

May came to office and proclaimed don't be hasty, I can get a great deal. Well she got nothing, she does not have a trade deal, and she has promised 39Bn upfront.

That is not what the public voted for.

Corbyn should have gone into workplace ergonomics not politics. He's really good on posture, could have helped lots of people with back pain issues.

Why is Corbyn being so naive? Mrs May already has some concessions and has had for some time but she knows that she has to play project fear and keep the 'breakthrough' concession news to as soon before the meaningful vote as possible. Corbyn has been playing May's game and has been a waste of space as an opposition leader. He is going to be out flanked and out played by May's deliberate scaremongering and timing of the release of information about what has been agreed with the EU. Poor Jeremy is looking more foolish and un-electable as the brexit nonsense plays out.

I hated Brexit from the beginning. I hope they all suffer. I hope Britain's economy will eventually be destroyed.

You have got this totally wrong, it's NOT about the people in parliment supporting this, the PEOPLE voted to leave, we did not vote to leave on terms and conditions, we did not vote to leave on half measures still attached by way of trade deals and financial ties. Parliment and all those in it need to start supporting the people of this Country, or be held accountable. We can't vote for the people of this country, but we can vote on those sitting on those leather seats.
