Love seeing all the comments from people who aren’t cubers getting interested in the hobby and the community

This is the kind of story Hollywood would make movies about in the 80's. Glad to see love for the Rubik's Cube is still vibrant.

Netflix : An average person takes 3 hours to solve their 1st rubik's cube
Me : Yeah, I beat you. 23 years & counting. Still on the shelf, unsolved since I got it in 1997. So proud of my achievement 🤭

Non-cuber here and this documentary was so heartwarming and real. Now I’m going down the whole cubing community YouTube hole❤️❤️

as cuber i feel like this is something that this "industry" needs, just people having fun solving a puzzle, always learning, always pushing themselves harder

I was one of the organisers for WCA competition in Bangalore and I can tell you that I have never seen children of age 4-13 compete for something so passionately and the best thing is that you actually get inspired by seeing their dedication and the speed to solve the cubes. I recored a solve of sub 3 seconds for a PYRAMINX and I was blown. This is a much needed documentary to make people realise that their are events other that ground sports and which require equal amount of dedication and hardwork. Kudos to Netflix on doing this... First the Spelling Bee and now this. Amazing job.

Feliks and Max are idols for everyone who's ever cubed. Feliks is Max's idol himself. It's so amazing to finally have a profile of these two awesome cubers and even more awesome human beings. ♥️♥️♥️

This documentary is a gem. So special in many ways! I'd never thought that a documentary about speedcubers would teach me that much about competition, family, friendship, belonging, wining, losing, empathy. I had to tear up watching it! I truly fell in love with Max's parents, and of course Max and Felix. Now I really understand there is a spot that god created in the realm of competition to make us grow as human beings, to make us stronger, to make us connect to our competitors. The podium is what competition is about but it's way more than the podium. This is a huge life lesson that we can learn from Max & Felix .

One thing to clear up for non-speedcubers. When they say it takes 3 hours for a person to solve their first Rubik's cube, they mean 3 hours when watching (or reading) a tutorial. Solving it intuitively would take months of dedication.

For people watching this who think they could never solve a cube, you can! I have taught multiple people to solve a 3x3 and there are 100s of tutorials that you can learn from. Try and learn it during lockdown while you have a lot of free time and you will have a skill that impresses millions of people and you may pick up a new hobby as well.

Max broke the world record this weekend with 3.13 seconds. He says in the trailer, "i just want to get 3 seconds", ... well, he did. Congrats Max. That's insanely fast.

This show was so amazing! My daughters family sat me down and we all watched it together. You see, my 5 year old Grandson Rasheem is Autistic. He has the same ticks as Max has and we laughed, cried and fell in love with this documentary. The special bound between Max and Felix was so beautiful and I truly hope and pray that when my grandson is older. He has a Felix in his life. I can not speak enough about this Doco!!!

Watched this not having any idea what it was other than speed cube solving and that Netflix wanted me to look at it. Made my on-the-spectrum child and the other come watch for a few minutes, expecting them to wow over the competition for about 4 mins, then wander off. We all go sucked into it, and Max's story and parents made me tear up. Feliks comes off as a sweet bloke as well, and i wish them all the best! Really feel-good without being overly sappy.

It’s really sweet that that Feliks and Max are friends even though they’re competitors. That’s not just classy, it’s kind and what it means to be a good human ❤️
