Herobrine made an appearance in Minecraft back in 2010 which he never was coded into the game thus became an Urban Legend... and thanks to Hudsom6CO, he became a fully custom character in Super Smash Bros Ultimate.

I wanna point out the references of the alts for these custom character mods if I know what their based on for the people that don’t know
So Herobrine’s alts are all based on classic Minecraft Creepypastas with the edition of Herobrine (Alex Version) and Notch and Notch in a Steve outfit

So here me out, it seems the mod used Mewtwo rather than Steve for a base? He has a very similar jump, a similar run speed and animation (though slower), he has a charged neutral B energy ball projectile, and an EXTREMELY similar up B (though it seems extended). Just food for thought.

Herobrine is like the opposite of Steve the Steve moveset is directly from his games doing exactly like in Minecraft but Herobrine can be flexible and moving his 3D dimension with his limited blocky motion his moveset often using abilities that impossible to do for player character so he's cheating and is really clever and fit to his character
