With the commencement of its third year of production, the Genesis Electrified G80 is receiving its initial revision. Although Genesis has only disclosed the Korean version thus far, we anticipate that its modifications will filter down to the U.S. lineup.
The EV G80 has been updated in response to the same revisions as its gasoline-powered twin and GV80 SUV siblings. The Electrified G80's wheelbase has been extended by 5.1 inches in comparison to its predecessor, in addition to several new styling elements for the exterior and new technology inside.
The headlamps, front and rear bumpers, and grille have been slightly modified, and the wheel design lineup has been redesigned. An enhancement to the EV charge-port cover is the addition of a new power-open and close feature. The expanded wheelbase, which now measures 123.6 inches in comparison to its predecessor's 118.5-inch wheelbase, is the most dramatic visual transformation.
