I remember Jenna talking about this number in an interview, something like: "And I'm singing korean! I don't know Korean, do I look korean?" I thought it so sweet and for someone who dosent know korean, she did a really good job on this one!

Props to the cast for learning an ensemble arrangement for a song in another language, recording, choreographing, and shooting in less than a week (because that is typically the schedule they have to work with). Doing this normally with the songs they get is hard. It's a MILLION times harder when the song is in a language none of them know.

As a fluent Korean-speaker, I must say I am thoroughly impressed. I applaud the cast for the effort they must have put into learning the lyrics. Korean isn't the most easiest for English speakers to pronounced.

I think it was a brave thing they did trying to do the entire thing in the original language. The beat and music + vocal quality was pretty good too... its just the pronounciation of the lyrics that was plainly off.

Being someone that actually listens to Korean Pop I must say with the time they were given to do the song they did well. And For Jenna not knowing Korean I think she did a wonderful job. I think they made it work.

Unpopular opinion: I'm completely fine with this song cover I honestly don't understand the hate.

I still don't see why this cover is getting so much hate.
I personally love it; the backup vocals are superb, the Korean pronunciation isn't incredibly terrible, the beat is super catchy, and the song itself is fun and upbeat. It might not be the best cover, but it certainly doesn't deserve all the hate.

For those who say Jenna's accent is off you should listen to a little more kpop or Korean girl bands. They tend to sound a little pitchy.
