Welcome - my aim is to take you on an enlightening journey through my zulu ancestoral background , infused dance music and our African acoustics. Music is part of my make up and it is translated in my performance as an African Vocalist and International artist. As a self-taught guiatarist, my influence and passion for music comes from the likes of the great Busi Mhlongo and with my ancestors behind me, I echo the greateness of our diverse and unique Continent. Explore, express and evolve with me through my musical experience because in the words of one of the greatest Africans, “The curious beauty of African music is that it uplifts even as it tells a sad tale.”

HVMZA (Hamza) is a Belgian music producer and DJ with Turkish and Arabic roots. His music sits somewhere between Afro/Latin and Organic House with Mediterranean and Middle Eastern vibes, incorporating elements from a huge range of genres including Latin American Folk and traditional African music to create an engrossing and highly unique style. HVMZA started his musical journey making Hip Hop tracks with his cousins and friends in his bedroom at a very young age, after which he started experimenting with another love: House Music. Feeling he could express himself more creatively with this style, he chose to plough his innate talents headline in House, with his debut single Na Bosana landing in 2019. Since then, HVMZA has produced a dazzling run of singular tracks which, despite being entirely self-released, have clocked up millions of streams across all platforms. His music stands out due to his colourful background and the range genres and cultures he brings to the table: African, Latin and Middle Eastern influences all feature heavily. Never afraid to push boundaries and test new horizons, HVMZA is a dynamic artist who looks set to make his mark over the coming months and years.

Due to his passion for House music, Alakay entered the music world at an early age. While exploring and delving deeply into the culture of House music, He chose to produce throughout his youth. He started bringing his own original ideas from a variety of genres to the table. He pursued his musical adventure seriously, studying music theory and learning to play the piano. His sound is influenced by Deep/Tech House harmonies and falls between Afro and Latin House. putting feelings into his work and working towards a never-ending musical career progression. His artistry tells a story without the use of words.
