For me, this argument runs straight into the Death penalty. If Prison isn't about rehabilitation then what's the point. Either, all people are worth our "mercy" and a 2nd chance or they're not? If you don't believe people can change, then logically, all prison sentences should be life sentences, or for that matter Death(Now I've started, I'm not sure this is the right place for a full, logically laid out argument against the Death penalty).

I am so glad that Pod Save America is willing to communicate with people on an informative level. It is so important that people see that insight and respectfulness can exists in political discussion. The alternatives are smugness incarnate in the establishment DNC attitude, and crazy, in the unity at all costs Republicans. We need more like Pod Save America.
