I'm an Emergency Vehicle Installer at Motorola, we'll be getting 50+ of these next month to work on for Dekalb County PD here in GA. I can't wait to get my hands on this bad boy! Not only do a lot it's features make the Officer's lives easier, it makes our job easier too. A lot of the 3rd party installer wiring is already ran in several locations inside the vehicle. This makes for a much faster install and turn-around for completion.

I was excited at I heard it still has the 5.3l V8....yup still a slowhoe, not a tahoe.

Update: 02/18/23: I was recently issued this new Tahoe at my Law Enforcement Agency, and it's still the slowest police car in the market. It's just not designed for police patrol work due to it's size, weight, handling, power, turning radius, power, power...oh, did I say power already? If I were a "bad guy, " I could outrun these things in a Honda Civic. All this being said, as a personal vehicle, the Tahoe is a great purchase.

*Disclaimer:
The Tahoe can be a good police vehicle, but only for specialty duties like K9 or Crash Recon. Now, many of my co-workers like the Tahoe and think it's pretty fast. However, they've never really driven a truly fast car before.
