How does "Enter Sandman" turn into "Enter Smileman" and "Crazy Train" into "Cozy Train"? Watch and listen as Nick Bowcott mutates mean and moody riffs from Metallica, Maiden, Sabbath, Priest and Pantera into happy ones.

Major sounds like every pop-punk band in the last 20 years 😂

Nick was my rock camp instructor, I'm glad to see that he is still keeping up with his guitar skills. Also glad he still has a sense of humor, Love ya man!

I don’t even play guitar, I’m a drummer, but I love hearing this dude talk about metal music and showing his techniques.

LOL: "If you liked this video, post it. If you didn't... my name is Don Carr, See Ya!" A little bit of Sales Rep rivalry?

I always enjoy Nick's videos. Very informative and despite his self ranking, he's pretty awesome on the guitar.

new to your channel. Enjoying everything so far. I've been playing for over thirty years, but no matter what...I always benefit from another great guitar lesson. Thanks for your time, much appreciated!

Great video. Nick didn't knock his ability one time. Love the stuff he teaches and the ending was classic.

Making something that's supposed to be minor, major, you've created a Dream Theater song.

Well, minor doesn’t necessarily mean dark, moody and menacing, although a lot of those keys do have those characteristics. For example, “Superstition” by Stevie Wonder is in E-flat minor but none of the above qualities apply to that song.

Smartest guitar video of 2020 so far. Not kidding.

Loll! That was a lot of fun and...Oooh! That Tony Iommi's Epiphone sounds & looks sick!

Nick needs to play grim reaper riffs, and some metal riffs do sound good in Major keys. In case you didn’t know; Grim Reaper was an 80s metal band Nick was the guitarist for. They released one major album in 1984 as far as I know, and then faded into history as Nick eventually did the work he does now.
