Lovely John, Greetings from Dartmoor. Like most early slope soarers I started out with an Impala but could not get it to fly right ( correctly) so I learnt on a Kamco Cloud Tutor which is similar to what you are flying....happy memories.

Got it! The Kamco 'Kloudrider'. A great British kit design from the 1970's.

Could be a Kloudrider, could be a Monterey (which I always felt the Kloudrider was suspiciously similar to). EIther way it's very beautiful and just the sort of thing I like. I had a great summer out of my plans-built Monterey a long, long time ago

I used to fly at this site a lot when we lived in W-s-M. The lift over the cliffs can be surprisingly good. And the Pub at the bottom used to be great- hope it still is.

Brean Down has great, smooth lift in a Northerly or Southerly wind. Sand Point is good too.
