Rocky IV - 4K UHD Blu-ray Shifting Aspect Ratio | High-Def Digest

like most of the discs found in the Rocky: Knockout Collection 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray set, Rocky IV has an issue. Where the others have problems with their respective audio tracks, the Theatrical Cut of Rocky IV has a strange few-second aspect ratio switch where the mating shifts from 1.85:1 to 1.78:1.

There's also shifting aspect ratio on the Phantom of the Opera home release. Not sure if it's exclusive to the 4K.

Does the 4K enhanced version of the original Rocky IV theatrical cut have the same lighter blue-ish tint in the final fight like Rocky Vs. Drago does?

Maybe something got in the shot? It looks good in 4K. You forget how Stallone USED to look, instead of this present, elderly roided out monstrosity! At least Arnold let it go.

I think the original bluray looks better. This version has too much digital noise. The colours are too bright. I wish they’d restored it like they did with the DC.
