one of my greatest concerns is being grabbed by someone else. i know that it can be difficult to seek revenge when i encountered a suspicious grabber but maintaining a safe distance has proven effective in avoiding perilous situations for me

Another tips for dodging tentacles, when its light up you can start counting from one to three and jump when you count to three, this is how I estimate the perfect timing to dodge the tentacle, it will takes 3 seconds before it hits you. I hope this might be help you ☺

Another tip regarding defending against grabs (as someone who plays defensively and rarely attacks):
- If you're on a tile with a grabber and, for some reason, you want to run away, you can let the grabber grab you until the grab pops, after that you gain invinsibility agains grabs so you can safely jump. Be careful when letting the grabber pop the grab so you don't fall off. Also, this only woks against not-so-good grabbers, good players rarely pop grabs so keep that in mind. Oh, and NEVER do this against 2 grabbers, you'll be dead if they pop the grab.
- As far as I observed, spam jumping works to evade tentacles, so you can just keep doing that while a grabber tries to kill you to evade both tentacles and the grabber. It has the bonus that the grabber may die with luck

For anyone who gets around 4 minutes, all platforms will tilt,

If you want to timeout, run to the yellow platform and then fall short into one of the bases of the platform, kijda hard without showing footage.

I usually just stall and jump when the tentacles slam, until the end comes and i take the dub. Happy new year izzy, i believe in 20k in 2023.

Also, If your on a high ping server like the US (I’m in SE asia) You have to jump before the tentacle moves back then slams the platform. If your on your own servers, you can jump until even when the tentacle is going down. So basically higher ping = jump earlier. I was so confused why jumping over the tentacle wasn’t working so I hope this helps

Ima give u guys some of my experience, me being a guy who has 90% winrate on kraken slam.

One of the things that i saw in kraken slam, is that many people pretends to break tiles so they can interrupt others, instead, try to predict where they are going, and then tap grab them, since they will not be expectating it, its basically a free kill, also, dont be a aggressive dude who tries to go kill everyone, since they can easily team up on you for being a threat, if u see 2 guys trying to grab u at the same time, spam jump and try to escape, they are trying to double pop u, and if u get double popped its basically 100% elimination, since many people dont know jump the tentacle hit strat, they will be jumping from tile to tile, but if u time correctly, u can kill them.

Also for some of the people wondering, about 4 minutes in kraken slam, all tiles will tilt, and u will basically need to pray that it tilts the right side of yellow platform, since u can basically do it on 1 side, the other side is rlly inconsistent, but u can still manage to balance yourself even tho u are getting bounced, it is possible to recover while being bounced, but its EXTREMLY HARD to do.

When u go for the timeout strat, firstly, dont go from the tile to the pillar, instead, let the water go down, jump in the hole where a tentacle is supposed to be, and then walk to the pillar, its way easier and consistent and not that risky, but then when it starts to get tilted back, u dont want to jump straight back, instead, wait around 2 seconds, run for the tile that is in the middle of the 2 platforms that is possible to go on the pillar, and then, jump, dive, boom u did it

And the rest, is basically what Izzy said, also, there is some people that u can believe, on kraken slam, and if someome tried to kill you, they will mostly help u kill him, so yeah, thats all

When all sections flip, I like to jump down to the things that support the tiles, some bounce you though so maybe go in customs to practice it

Dang i was doing it all wrong 😮, i always let the tenticals to hit me then move my fall guy mid air to somewhere safe, i never grabbed and even trusted people on top of breaking all the tiles, yet somehow i did win in it twice in final marathons, but still definitely gonna remember these next time i get kraken slam
