Nitin Gadkari has totally transformed the highway system in India. So many Indians are now choosing to travel by road due to the good conditions of the roads as well as the less time being consumed. Ministers like Gadkari should be recognized for their achievements. I say the government should give him a Bharat Ratna or at minimum a Padma award.

Edit: One thing where we can improve is to keep the rural parts of highways in check. A lot of times farmers leave their cows which then come on to the highway which is very risky. Not everything can be left on the government, villagers should be educated on this issue
