I first visited Père Lachaise cemetery in Paris when I was 13 years old. The highlight of the visit was seeing Chopin's grave, but the beauty and tranquility of Père Lachaise stuck with me for years, and is still one of the most incredible places I have seen. I went back in my 20's, and then again last year, and the magic is still there. If you ever visit Paris, it's a place that you really must see.

Thank you for sharing this wonderful performance with us, David! I did not know that Chopin was buried at Pere Lachaise. His affiliation with Pleyel and George Sand, it is appropriate that he lies in repose there. I always thought that he was buried in his beloved Poland. Best regards, Will Ortiz
