Pretty sure someone has already commented on this, but I'll put it here.

If you look at the beginning, Marco is held up in Star's room on *Earth.* Not Mewni.

Meaning:

Star *deliberately* led the Mewnian army away so she could face Marco herself.

When you realize Star lead the army to the Royal Castle, and then slipped away to face Marco on her own where he actually is waiting, in her bedroom tower attached to his home on Earth.

When Star was holding the crown and said “I’ll save my home and family” I got the chills

To Be Honest, rapunzel’s voice fits Star perfectly. And they are pretty similar to eachother as far as personality

There are two types of people whom anyone should be afraid of: a good man who goes to war and a person who has nothing to lose. Marco is both.

No joke, with the amount of training, trials and overall power gain we see Marco go through as the show goes on (plus the fact that he was strong enough to be useful from the get-go) making him a villain would have been a very interesting twist, seeing him all that he learned *against* his former friends.
Also I loved the note of sad bitterness on Kelly at the end of her part. It really speaks volume about how this is more than just "good vs bad"
