The lyrics of this are sending me
Legit tearing up with how its my own experience in a way. Estranged from my family, trying to make it alone in the world, but by my own choice and determination.
I escaped the anger, hate, violence and depression of my origins. And it cost me everything. I have blinded eyes as far as my old family is concerned. I dont know if they'd accept me back nor do I even think I'd want it or be happy for it.

They seem fully content to remain in their own little worlds pretending nothing is wrong. Sipping their champagne while I writhe and struggle to find myself. Im finding my higher ground

I've never had a song grow on me so drastically as Tray has. I think on my first album listen, I probably had 3 or 4 songs ahead of it on the LP. Now it's one of my favourites of all time.

I didn't know you back in 2019, when you were the supporting act of Haken und I was so blown away by this original sound, the beauty of your arrangements and the simply stunning drumming of Adam. I've listened to FoaP several times since release. I am intimately connected with it and Witness. But this album made me realize how important Vola is to me. Periphery was my all time favorite band for iver 10 years, but Vola easily took over. Never a miss. Always "oops, all bangers!"
