How to fix Turtle Beach headset mic (worked for me)

How I managed to fix the mic on my turtle beach headset

The headset is fine I could hear but the mic doesn't work.

Bro, so I’ve been having my turtle beach headset for over a year now right but I could never get the mic to work so for a whole year I just been using the headset for the game audio and now I can finally use the mic and not worry about people not being able to hear me thanks so much you’re a legend!.

I didn't realize that the mic input had a little indexing cut out in it that needs to align with the headset. I aligned it up, inserted it all the way, and bam! Audio works now! Thank you!

Hey yo guys If you have problem with your mic then make sure that the mic is connected very well to the headset and if you heard it clicked two times than it’s fully connected and btw there is a minus on the down side of the headset were you connect the mic

Thank you. Totally worked. I was in the devices menus that listed all connected devices and that’s when it worked. Unplugging and plugging in mic that is.
