If it is about the numbers, why is Fred McGriff or Dale Murphy not in? They have the numbers and McGriff has never been talked about in the steroid conversation. Why are they not in? Not sure. If it is about other factors why is Dave Concepcion not in, but Ozzie Smith and Pee Wee Reese in? All 3 were great fielding shortstops, but weak hitters.

Red Starting Pitchers - Jose Rijo, Tom Browning, Jack Armstrong and Danny Jackson Relief Pitchers - Randy Myers, Rob Dibble, Norm Charlton, Rick Mahler, Tim Layana, Scott Scudder, Tim Birstas, Ron Robinson and Chris Hammond. These were the good ones, but there was also Rosario Rodriguez, Kip Gross and Gino Minutelli.

The “in” numbers used to be 3, 000 hits, 300 wins, 500 home runs, and a lifetime BA over .330. But, anymore those are not lock-ins.

Don’t you disparage the good gosh darn name of Inky (Pete Incaviglia)! Jk. Yes Murph belongs in the Hall!!! I won’t say McGriff does not, because he does, my gripe is Dale Murphy has the MVP awards, he has the stats, he just doesn’t have the ring, and McGriff does.
