Very useful video - thanks for that. Just a little nitpick - the QR skewer does not spin within the stud - both are fixed to the dropouts (only the outer axle with bearings spin on the stud), so it does not make much sense to put too much grease on the skewer - you just achieve that you get dirty hands on every wheel change :)

Now that you did this video we will have to wait a while before we do something similar haha. We have had some of those 9mm qr laying around for a while but we have so much going on we never have time to do a swap. I'm pretty sure our Schwinns came with a front qr but I have to watch our older videos to make sure. It would be weird if some come with it and some don't. Nice video man.👍

Hey man I think your vid helped me understand what the deal is with suspension forks out there on the market that are stated as QR. I want a lighter lockable fork for my budget friendly schwinn sideslapper but it has standard axle with only the safety washer behind the nut so I think I ought to convert over. I’m also gonna slap the sub thingy too.
