Im based in china in where netease is heavily infamous for lootboxes and heavy micro transactions on their games especially on mobile, gatcha games are their specialty and they have ludicrous practices for their other titles such as NARAKA for lootboxes in which the chance to obtain the rarest of skins requires hundreds of dollars to be spent. Now somebody will say of course you are not forced to buy anything which is true but what is also true that its a malicious practice which the company does time and time again and I would not want to see a new game that everyone is enjoying have extremely negative monetization.

If (big if) they introduce loot boxes, I’d like to see them 1) be from past events that you may have missed mixed in with the new ones. 2) Use the Chrono-Coin things so we have something else to spend them on (and no real money might skirt the gambling laws?) and 3) Use a “knock out” system similar to how Paladins worked.

All the loot boxes should at least be in some way tied to a reward system of some kind four seasons or events and also maybe some random reward drops

I feel like it's going to be a thing where it'll let you get more common items and skins cheaper than buying the packs, like say the world breaker hulk being 2400 token but a 500 token loot box can drop the icon and banner for the pack being common quality items and thus also making the pack itself slightly cheaper by having pre-owned pack items
